Our Scout Group is the 17th Stretford (1st Lostock) QUEST Scout Group. We currently offer scouting experiences and activities to over 100 different boys and girls in the Stretford area. We challenge young people and adults to stretch themselves, discover new talents and reach their potential

Our approach is informal, youth-led and sociable; Scouting is an enjoyable hobby and a social life with a purpose. Scouting helps young people and adults get to know new people, work well together and develop positive, meaningful friendships.

We currently have three Sections that meet on a regular basis at our Scout Group:-

• Beavers – Girls and Boys Aged 6 – 8 (Wednesday Evenings)
• Cubs – Girls and Boys Aged 8 – 10.5 (Thursday Evenings)
• Scouts – Girls and Boys Aged 10.5 – 14 (Tuesday Evenings)

We also host a District Explorer Unit at our group for Girls and Boys Aged 14 – 18 (Wednesday Evenings)

Our building is available for hire to other Scout and community groups, organisations and companies either on long-term regular basis or short-term one off events.

We boast a large meeting hall and smaller meeting rooms. We have off-road parking for 5-7 cars and a moderately sized grassed area to the rear. The building is centrally heated and has a kitchen well stocked with utensils and separate Male/Female/Disabled facilities.
