Our Building

Our headquarters on Barton Road, Stretford, is used as a meeting place for all of our youth Sections as well as the Stretford District ‘Shackleton’ Explorer Scout Unit.

Our building is available for hire to other Scout and community groups, organisations and companies either on long-term regular hirings or short-term one off events.

Unfortunately the terms of our lease prevent us from hiring the building out for parties such as birthdays, christening receptions etc.

We boast a large meeting hall and a series of smaller meeting rooms. We have off-road parking for 5-7 cars and a moderately sized grassed area to the rear which is available for use with the building.

The building is centrally heated and has a kitchen well stocked with utensils and separate Male/Female/Disabled facilities

Hire Charges

We have a flexible approach to our charges and will consider any case made to us for a reduced hire charge based on the financial situation of the hiring organisation.

Generally our one-off hire charges are:-

  • Whole Building £25 per Session (morning/afternoon/evening) or £45 full day
  • Single Meeting Room £20 per Session (morning/afternoon/evening) or £35 full day

All hires include the use of the kitchen facilities.
